We’ve just been named a finalist for Dark Horse Winery of the Year in the 2026 Halliday Wine Companion Awards.

It’s a pretty unreal feeling. This is our first year working together (Malcolm Wiley co-owner since 2024) as a partnership. To have the wines recognised and praised by Halliday Wine Companion (Philip Rich) plus now be on the shortlist for Darkhorse Winery…stoked. Stoked with the words/notes and scores, now this, I mean it’s bloody awesome!

All I’ve ever wanted to do is to make the best wines I can from lovely sites. Honest, balanced, made with care. Malcolm backed that from the start. He cut yields, let the site speak, and gave the fruit the attention it needed. I did my part in the winery, and it came together really nicely.

You can now buy bottles online, and I’m off shortly to pick up some six pack boxes so we can start sending them out! We’ve also opened early access to the wine club. If you want to be first to hear about new releases or what’s coming next, you can join now. First shipments go out in July.
